Revolution in the helping professions

The old paradigm is dying.  

Enlightened professionals are discarding old notions of what works to help people change.  We now know that what works in a change endeavor has practically everything to do with the client’s own resources and the quality of the relationship between the helper and help-seeker.  This is true regardless of the professional change discipline and the chosen preferred model of the change agent.

Change has to do with resilience, relationship, and courage, the core change factors that apply to any change endeavor.  So, don’t look for any complicated schemes or quick fixes if you need to make a life change.  Look to your own resilience and tap into your inner warrior to create a better life.  If you need help, find a trustworthy person that instills confidence.
